The Wines of The Hive Winery
Fruit wines are typically not considered a dinner wine, since they are frequently very sweet. Our wines are designed to complement a meal as well as for enjoying before or after a meal. We believe that when you make a fruit wine it should taste like the fruit it is crafted from not just the minor essence of the fruit. Because we believe so strongly in the wine tasting like the predominate fruit it is made from, our wines are never mixed with grape juice. Although in many cases a little bit of sweetness is necessary to bring out the fruit flavors, our wines are designed to be far drier than most fruit wines, with sugar contents generally varying from 0 to 4 percent.
